Due Yesterday... Still Preggers

I was due on January 30th to have my second son. Evidently noone told him that he cannot live in Mommy forever. I know it's cozy comfy in there, but it's just not working for me anymore. I am ready to meet the little fellow.

I have been creating like crazy. My latest endeavor is a possible HUGE account in New Jersey for some nurses in a home health care group. There are 160 of them and yearly they get a "take care of yourself" gift from their bosses. I am hoping that my "flutter scrubbers" and "soapies" are chosen. I also got a really huge hit on my favorite local all natural soap. The creators say that they would have no problem making it in sample sized portions just for me. whoo hoo. what a hit!!! So if I get this huge account in NJ I will be as busy as my fingers can be for about 3 months. This will also mean that I won't have to go back to work full time. I will only have to go back about 2 days simply out of obligation to my family and our Coffee Shoppe.

Wish me luck my friends.

Cheers!

Flutter Scrubbers and Minis

I have created the little bags to wash the flutter scrubbers and minis in. They are so cute. This way none will be lost when you wash and dry them. The minis are so little. Just a little over an inch wide and they are both so much fun to make. I love making the little crochet bags too.
I am sending some set to the La Vie En Rose disc golf tournament in Florida. It's an all women's event that is set to happen once per year. here's the link
I am hoping that the Vibram Open tourney will want some for players packages. That would be a huge break! plus it would be fantastic advertising for me.

Market Bag and Display

I have been working on my etsy site like crazy. I want it to look really great. I have also been working from wake to wink on all of my products. They have to be perfect :)
I have a new item in the shop that I'm pretty proud of. It's my market bag. It's a custom order only because it takes so long to make and I want it to be really special for whomever is using it. They should all be unique to the user.
I made my first 2 sales this week. Very exciting! Sold some dish cloths and bath cloths. Must make more... many more. They will be available in the super cool shop FoxxHollow Antiques and Uniques in Senoia, Ga.
I also went shopping for some new 'models'. I found the perfect displays for my hats. Now they will not only photograph well, but will display well in the physical shop.
Ryne is loving 'helping me' with my yarn. He is learning his colors this way. He has chosen some of the color combinations for the hats I've made. He's got an eye I must say.
Baby is due any day now, so I must work as hard as I can before this happens so I can take a few weeks off when he comes.

Welcome

What better way to continue to be a good mom than to create a stay at home business? I can sit with my kids while they play and create cool stuff all day. There is no other way in my view. I want to raise my boys, not let a day care raise my boys. I want gentle children who are moral and obedient. I hope my friends and family and new friends to come will support my efforts. All while creating this blog I can hear Ryne back in his room playing "choo choo". This is his favorite thing in the whole world. Everything is choo choo. What joy he has brought to my life. Charlie is still in my belly, but we will get to meet him in just a couple of weeks. I can't wait. Ryne is looking so forward to being a 'big bubba'. I think he's gonna do a great job.
Much love for now.
Cheers!
